Pauline Talbot

I am a Tyrone based artist currently studying on the Masters in Fine Art at Ulster University Belfast. My longstanding fascination with portraiture has more recently evolved to examine the essence of the human condition and my latest explorations delve into a kaleidoscope of colour, form and materiality inspired by humanity, biophilia and expressions of joy. Inspired by the avant-garde and with a healthy disregard for convention, I use whatever materials come to hand as ground for my work- thus allowing the domestic, the ordinary to become life affirming and untethered.
