Hannah McMurray

Hannah McMurray is a Fine Artist working in a variety of mediums but primarily drawing and instillation. Themes such as phenomenology, horror, meditation and philosophy run through her practice and her background in both printmaking and music contribute to her process. Through gestural mark making she expresses her personal bodily experience of the world, aiming to enable the viewer to identify with the work and to attain a felt aesthetic empathy.

She studied her bachelor’s in Fine Art at Ulster University Belfast, specialising in printmaking, graduating with first class honours in 2019. She is currently studying a Masters in Fine Art at Ulster University Belfast.
